Dr. Nhan Cam Tri - Vice-Rector of the University encouraging the teams’ spirit

Before stepping on the "intellectual arena", the teams have received motivating words from Dr. Nhan Cam Tri – Vice President of the University: “It can be said that IT skills are the indispensable skills in the current 4.0 era, especially in the field of Accounting - Finance. Achieving IT skills is extremely helpful for professional work regarding time and work efficiency. More than anyone, students who study Economics in general and Banking – Financial or Accounting in particular, must be proficient in computer skills.
It is extremely meaningful that the Faculty of Finance and Commerce organizes this contest. This is an academic playground to help you reflect on your computer skills. For those who do not reach the Final stage, you too would have the opportunity to gain experience, create a foundation to develop your skills to effectively support your study and career in the future. For today's teams, I wish you all the best performances, showcase your talent, and in the future, become experts in the field of Finance and Accounting”.

The teams positively conquering the 3 stages of the Final round

Having received encouragements from the experts, the Administrators, lecturers, and fellow UEF students, the 4 teams confidently introduced themselves and excelled in the stages of the Final round. In Stage 1 – Knowledge Mastering, the teams had to answer 10 multiple-choice questions to review knowledge about the 3 software: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In Stage 2 – Skills Perfecting, the young "warriors" of Apollo, Eros, Shield, and 102 teams took turns choosing a question from each question package involving the above 3 software. From there, they performed computer operations to give solutions to accounting and finance related situations.

All of the teams gave their best efforts to win themselves valuable points, adding more strength to overcome the final stage: Stage 3 – Debate Competing. The Champion of the contest was gradually revealed in this stage that both required knowledge and reasoning qualifications. Each team randomly drew 1 among 4 scenarios to discuss and debate.

The Second, Third, and Fourth prizes were then respectively given to 102, Apollo and Shield teams.
Through each stage, the Judges also provided more answers to questions, shared many tips to solve practical problems, and created opportunities for students to learn more "extracurricular” lessons.
