Meeting with the students of “Plus 3 Viet Nam - 2015”

The School Board of University of Economics - Finance Hochiminh City (UEF) had cordial meetings with the students who supported the Academic Exchange Program called “Plus 3- Viet Nam” between UEF and Univeristy of Pittburgh ( USA) on June 17th, 2015.
The program, started in 2009, is a 3-credit-elective course for Pittsburgh students involved in cross-cultural exchange, learning the language and history of Vietnam.

The meeting is to reward outstanding individuals, actively participate in the activities of program which takes place from May 4th to May 17th 2015.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Loan , Deputy Director of Institute of International Education, shared her intimate praise and international solidarity of UEF students.
In the atmosphere of openness, friendship, the meeting is an opportunity to summarize the achievements and shortcomings of the Program. As the Director of the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Loan shared her intimate praise and international solidarity of UEF students to the participants. She also mentioned about the additional orientation program for Plus 3 Viet Nam 2016.

The students also contributed their idears and inovation for Plus 3 Viet Nam in year 2016.
At the meeting, the managing board awarded merit certificates and Letters of thanks to the volunteers - one of the very important factors bringing big success for the Plus 3 Viet Nam programs.

Reportedly, Plus 3 Viet Nam 2015 is the academic exchange program between UEF and Univeristy of Pittburgh, and is reputablely deployed since 2009.This program has provided American students with variety of lessons and activities such as cultural exchange, Vetnamese Language lessons, Vietnamese cooking lessons and history of Viet Nam. They also particiapte the classes with UEF on topics relating to Economics, Urban Planning Developing of HCMC and Mekong Delta, History and culture of Viet Nam.
Every year, the number of international students of the Plus 3 Viet Nam program is increasing. Year 2015, University of Pittsburgh has 20 students come from different countries around the world participated in the exchange program at UEF.
UEF is developing more and more academic exchange programs attracting not only American Students but also students from over the world to visit and enjoy their significant time of studying at UEF in the coming years.
