Sharing about green transition and sustainable economy, the lecturer set specific learning objectives: students should be able to identify and frame the issue of green transition within the Vietnamese context, examine policies and case studies, explore economic opportunities and limitations, and reflect on Vietnam's green future.

In order to help Pittsburgh students visualize more clearly, Mr. Luu Hoang Thien Minh presented data on Vietnam's environmental and economic context, from which challenges such as heavy reliance on coal, urban congestion and unsustainable land use, and large amounts of waste (especially plastic) were raised.

With the context of Vietnam in particular and globally in general, the lecturer posed questions for international students to discuss the role of green transition, emphasizing factors such as global climate obligations, domestic environmental degradation, public health, and global trade standards.

Regarding sustainable economy, M.r Luu Hoang Thien Minh also helped the students define what a sustainable economy is. Accordingly, a sustainable economy is one that balances economic growth, environmental protection, and social equity to meet present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
