The activity was guided and facilitated by two lecturers from the Faculty of English: Ms. Tran Kim Dung and Mr. Nguyen Duy Khoi.

Tra Kiet and Anh Thu took on the role of main speakers and shared sincere, relatable stories about their journeys of self-discovery—overcoming psychological barriers and no longer fearing being seen as “weird” or “different.” Their stories resonated deeply, especially with students who are still struggling to find a balance between fitting in and preserving their individuality.

A highlight of the program was the English reflex practice session, where students took turns answering deeply personal and thought-provoking questions such as: “Have you ever felt strange or different?”, “How can you turn that strangeness into an opportunity?”, or “Is there someone around you who’s very different, but you find them lovable?” This activity was not just a communication exercise—it was also a meaningful way for students to confront and express their unique perspectives.
The interactive and practical activities helped students improve their English skills and develop critical thinking
Tea & Talk was not just a space for practicing spoken English—it was also a forum where students could truly be themselves, celebrate differences, and learn to listen to one another. With that spirit, the event contributed to nurturing a student community that grows more confident, resilient, and creative each day.
