The contest "UEF Colorful Christmas 2020" – a highlight at the end of UEF 2020

When Christmas, as well as New Year 2021, is coming, every corner of Ho Chi Minh city is flooded with excitement and pleasure. Cold winds at the end of the year also heighten the sense of eagerness in the city.

The UEF family also bustled to decorate many eye-catching check-in corners, making UEF students more and more excited. Moreover, the contest UEF Colorful Christmas 2020 with 2 attractive parts promises to make the whole university immerse themselves in a playful and exciting atmosphere.

Students of UEF family will have more choice of check-in locations after the contest

Contest organized by Department of Student Service in the form of a collective with 2 parts - "Christmas tree and check-in corner decoration", "Santa and Snow Princess performance", which are exchange activity exchange activities involving classes, clubs/teams/groups.

It is expected that this will be a thrilling contest in terms of aesthetics, ingenuity, and creativity of the UEF students. It would be interesting to have a chance to decorate the common area with your classmates or the members of your club, wouldn't it?

Time: From 9:00AM - 11:30AM on December 12, 2020 (Saturday morning)
Place: 15th-floor hall (Christmas tree decoration) and 6th-floor area (check-in corners decoration)

Each team can register for 1 or even 2 parts. The more you compete, the more chances you can take to show your strong points. For the decoration of Christmas trees, pine trees should be a minimum of 1.5m and tagged with the name of the team. The organizers encourage the use of recycled and environmentally friendly materials. The teams in charge of the check-in corner decoration contest are assigned a separate area on the 6th floor to freely express their designing ideas.

Prize structure:
- 01 first prize: 1,500,00 VND and UEF certificate.
- 02 second prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize and UEF certificate.
- 03 third prizes: 500,000 VND/prize and UEF certificate.
- 01 prize for the most voted artwork: 700,000 VND/prize and UEF certificate.

Couple performance in "Santa and Snow Princess"
The contest is for boys and girls who like to transform into 2 familiar characters every Christmas season. Which Santa will win the prize, crown with the beautiful Snow Princess of the UEF family?

Time: From 8:00AM - 11:00AM on December 23, 2020
Place: 1st floor - UEF main hall

According to the instructions of the Organizing Committee, each class/club needs to suggest 1 couple to participate in this part. The couples will perform and complete the challenges set by the Organizers.

Prize structure:
- 01 couple award that is most voted on through voting channel on Fanpage of Student Affairs Department: 1,000,000 VND and UEF certificate.
- 01 first prize: 1,000,000 VND and UEF certificate.
- 02 second prizes: 700,000 VND/prize and UEF certificate.
- 03 third prizes: 500,000 VND/prize and UEF certificate.

Some familiar corners have been changed, which gives more ideas for the participants.
