MAY 22 - There was a discussion between the UEF and the delegates from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Representatives of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures took responsibility for warmly welcoming special guests from the “Land of Kimchi”.
On behalf of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, there were the presence of Mr. Kim Jae Wook – Director, Department of cooperative research, and Professor, Graduate School of KFL and Mr. Yang Jae Wan – Director, Department of International Cooperation. The meeting also honorably highlighted the participation of Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh – Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures.
Notably, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is one of the prominent universities in Korea that teaches 48 different languages. This university owns an excellent team of professors and experts with many years of teaching and training experience, and is currently cooperating with more than 400 universities across 93 countries.
After introduction, two educational institutions had a discussion about the curriculum
During the working session, some essential information such as the number of students, training system, etc., was exchanged. In addition, educational programs and projects implemented in the upcoming time were also discussed in the meeting, such as the 2+2 program, the 2+1 program, the Korean study abroad program for pursuers, the short-term exchange program, and the business internship program in South Korea.
Korean university representatives said that they want to organize the MOU Signing Ceremony with the UEF in Korea next July. This will be an important milestone in expanding the international network of the Faculty and the UEF in general.
A huge number of learning opportunities would be opened for UEFers in Korea
After signing successfully, not only Korean Language but also Marketing, International Economics and International Business majors are offered the opportunity to attend exchange programs between 2 universities as there are multiple courses in the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies that are taught in English. In other words, this gift is shared with all of the UEFers.
The UEF is putting a lot of effort in boosting global cooperation. Thereby, the chance for students to learn and experience international courses or internships at multinational corporations keeps growing.
