UEF and Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) to discuss the development of training programs

JULY 18, UEF International Institute had a meeting with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) with the aim of expanding international partners and implementing a wide range of top-notch programs for its students. 

The meeting involved Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President & Director, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh – Assistant Director, from the UEF International Institute. 

On behalf of SQA, there was Mr. Michael Koetsier - International Regional Manager - Asian Pacific. 
 The meeting provided a lot of information about SQA's student program

SQA is a non-profit organization, affiliated with schools, community colleges and universities providing a wide range of high-quality, internationally recognized qualifications, and associated services.
 

Mr. Michael Koetsier, a SQA representative, introduced general information about the organization. The fields that SQA concentrates on training in Vietnam are business, computing, engineering, healthcare and hospitality. SQA Advanced Qualifications and programs are internationally recognized and quality-accredited (according to the EQF - European Qualification Framework) through credit transfer system and mutual recognition between educational systems.

After the introduction, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc and Mr. Michael Koetsier also had a discussion on issues such as benefits from SQA's training programs for students, the procedure of providing materials, tuition fees, etc. 

The meeting came to an end, promising to bring various programs for students in the future. SQA representatives also paid a visit to the school afterwards. The constant exchange with international organizations enables UEF to expand its partnership network and develop programs to assist UEFers in reaching their fullest potential.
