UEF discusses the international program with Kaohsiung National University (Taiwan)

MARCH 5, UEF welcomed and worked with representatives of the National University of Kaohsiung - Taiwan (NUK). In the working session, the two universities discussed international programs that can be jointly implemented for students in the future.

 

The representatives of NUK included Prof. Wu Hsing-Hao - Dean of Office of International Affairs, Ms. Wu Shan-Chi - Coordinator of Office of International Affairs. On UEF's side, there was Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.

UEF and NUK had a working session about the international program

 

With the common objective of providing students with many quality programs, representatives of UEF and NUK discussed possible cooperative contents such as student exchanges; short-term programs including international semesters, field trips, etc., cooperative potential in seminars, online educational resources, joint research, student interaction, etc.

The discussed contents aim to enhance the quality of international education for students in the future

 

It is worth noting that NUK was established in February 2000 with 25 faculties and 7 graduate institutes. The Department of Applied Economics at NUK is highly regarded in global rankings. Additionally, NUK is the first university organization in Taiwan to establish connections with the United Nations, aligning with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 

The discussed contents serve as the foundation for the two universities to continue promoting, engaging in in-depth discussions, and pursuing collaborative opportunities in the near future.
