UEF leaders visit and send encouragement to UEF interns in Japan on Tet holidays

During the Lunar New Year - the year of the Dragon. UEF leaders visited and extended Tet greetings to students interning in Japan. They also conveyed New Year wishes to partner businesses in the land of cherry blossoms.

Dr. Kieu Xuan Hung, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than, the Dean of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures at UEF, met with the Board of Directors and visited students interning at Joetsu Kokusai Ski Resort.

In addition to monitoring students' work and internships, the faculty sent warm wishes and New Year's gifts. The UEF delegation also visited and listened to insights from Japanese business representatives, understanding recruitment needs and new opportunities for students.

Reuniting with professors abroad, UEF students expressed emotion and sincerely shared personal stories. The challenges faced in their work became valuable lessons accumulated during this period.


Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than visited, extended Tet greetings, and inquired about students interning in Tokyo, Niigata, and Gunma.

In May 2023, the UEF leadership visited students interning at Kankoso Hotel and the Iteon Oze Oigami Sanrakuso resort in Gunma.                                  

Currently, around 100 UEF students are participating in internships in Japan. Tonight, on February 19th, the university will bid farewell to another 6 students embarking on internships in Japan, marking the beginning of UEF's international internship program after the Lunar New Year.
