UEF partners with Kwansei Gakuin University: A research opportunity for students

MOU signing ceremony between Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) and Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan marked the expansion of UEF's training partner network.

This ceremony is a key step for the program to recruit UEF students participating in the “Research survey for Kosé product on Vietnam market” project. Students who have achieved the Japanese level N3 or fluency in English (Advanced level) or gained knowledge about Economic and Marketing are all encouraged to apply.

Disseminate the research project on "Research survey for Kosé product on Vietnam market" for students 

On behalf of UEF, Mr. Do Quoc Anh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President of UEF and Director of International Education Institute, Mr. Le Nguyen Thanh Dong - Director of Center of Business Relationship, Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than - Dean of Faculty of Language and International Culture and all members of the Office of the President attended the signing ceremony. 

Representatives of Kwansei Gakuin University, Ms. Hiura Noami - Vice President and Director of International Collaboration accompanied with Mr. Minorikawa Takuji - Commissioner, participated in the ceremony by virtual meeting app. Due to drawbacks caused by Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Seki Takehiko - Director of GA Consultant Vietnam cum representative of Kwansei Gakuin University signed a cooperation agreement. This is also an organization which plays the role of connecting and promoting the program. 

Due to the current situation, MOU signing ceremony takes place with the virtual attendance of Kwansei Gakuin University representatives


Mr. Seki Takehiko - Director of GA Consultant Vietnam pays a compliment toward international academic curiculum of UEF.

At the meeting, Ms. Hiura Noami showed their interest in Vietnam students. Additionally, she hoped this online-research cooperation between two universities would foster future expanding programmes. According to Ms. Hiura Noami, generating opportunities for students to assess businesses is a common target of Kwansei Gakuin and UEF.

Expressing appreciation to this collaboration, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President of UEF and Director of International Education Institution, emphasized that sharing missions in education between two universities, especially focusing on development of international activities such as international exchange program included student exchange and teacher exchange, international semester, articulation program. Talking about this cooperation, UEF representative expressed, “Such these online events are right for the current situation. I do believe that we will have more opportunities to develop, even after pandemic time.”

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc represents UEF to sign the MOU with Japanese partner

Under the program, students of UEF and Kwansei Gakuin will cooperate, conduct research surveys and create marketing ideas for Kosé sunscreen products at Vietnamese market in August 2021. All processes will be online, therefore, UEF students have to reach the Japanese level 3 or good command of English and knowledge about Business and Marketing.
