UEF welcomes Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University’s students of International Internship Program

FEBRUARY 20 - UEF organized a welcome ceremony for 3 delegates from Asia Pacific University (APU). They are members of UEF’s collaboration and articulation program signed previously, who would conduct their internships at UEF from February 17 to March 18.
On behalf of UEF, there were Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than – Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Ms. Huynh Tu Anh, Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Cao Do Quyen – Assistant, Japanese Language. On APU sides, there were Ms. Le Bich Lien – Program Manager, APU; and Ms Dao Nguyen Minh Nhu – Program Assistant, APU.

At the welcome ceremony, Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than offered greetings to the APU internship delegation and assured that APU students will be well-provided and supported during their internship at UEF. Simultaneously, he expressed his hope that they would obtain valuable experiences and unforgettable memories during the internship at UEF.
Ninomiya Shintaro; Amenomori Takafumi, and Saito Rin from APU will conduct their internships at UEF.

During a month at UEF, the interns will assist with Japanese language courses, arrange events to convey Japanese cultures to Vietnamese students, engage in class lectures for 120 hours/4 weeks, including class time for 20 hours per week, as well as planning lessons and extracurricular activities. Beside that, they will participate in other activities for UEF students under the instruction of UEF faculty members
This is the opportunity for students of both institutions to broaden their understanding of language, culture, and history, otherwise, bolster the cultural exchange relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
The international internship program reinforces UEF’s mission of internationalizing comprehensive education, and takes one step further in converting UEF into a training ground for global citizens and high-quality human resources for society.
