Not only were students from “the Lion Island nation” introduced to an overview of Vietnam from its geographical location, administrative maps to diverse landscapes and UNESCO heritage sites such as the My Son Sanctuary, Ha Long Bay, and Phong Nha Ke Bang, etc. but they were also "immersed" in Vietnamese culture through narration delivered by UEFers and exciting minigames.

Through a video introducing natural scenes and the lives of Vietnamese people, Singaporean students gained new insights into the core values of Vietnamese culture such as family roles, optimism and cultural differences among the three regions.

UEFers also provided more information about the typical traditional costumes of each region, Vietnamese traditions as well as diverse cuisine with distinctive dishes and drinks to international friends.

The cultural exchange program at UEF not only deepens Singaporean students' understanding of Vietnam but also creates opportunities for Vietnamese students to share their traditions, customs, and perspectives. This plays an important role in promoting cultural awareness and building meaningful relationships between the two countries. The Singaporean delegation expressed their gratitude toward UEF for the heart-warming welcome and the opportunity to discover Vietnamese cultural features.

Before departing, the Singaporean student delegation visited the campus and expressed their impressions of UEF's facilities. Through the program, UEFers also had chances to practice foreign language skills and established new relationships through exchanging information. This will be the foundation for further partnership development and integration in the future.
