UEF welcomes the representatives of Daegu Catholic University, Korea

In response to the international study and cultural exchange needs of Korean language students, UEF continually seeks and expands cooperation with universities in Korea. On the morning of July 11, the university welcomed the representatives of Daegu Catholic University, Korea (DCU) to discuss potential future cooperation. 

The representatives from UEF included Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc Vice President, Board of Management and Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than Dean, Faculty of Languages ​​and International Culture; Ms. Huynh Tu Anh Deputy Director, UEF International Institute. On the side of DCU were Mr. Kim Ki Houng Director, Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation; and Prof. Youn Jong-In Vice President, International Affairs.
 

Representatives of the two universities discussed cooperation opportunities


Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc extended a warm welcome to the DCU delegation. He provided a brief overview of UEF before emphasizing the university’s international curriculum and its future development goals. 

DCU’s representative, Prof. Youn Jong-In, provided basic information about the university’s academic departments and expressed the opportunity for cooperation with the Korean Language department at UEF.
 

From the meeting, UEF and DCU have a basis to consider and implement cooperation opportunities


To understand each other's academic information, the two sides also watched a video introducing details about the learning facilities and curriculum.

During the meeting, representatives from the two sides also discussed potential areas of cooperation, such as exchange programs, student short-term exchange programs, joint training initiatives, and other cooperative opportunities.

From this discussion, UEF and DCU have had a foundation for considering and carrying out suitable collaboration activities in the future. This provides UEF students, especially those majoring in Korean Language, with more opportunities to study and experience international cultures, including the chance for overseas trips to Korea.
