UEF works with Dai Viet Human Resources Development Co., Ltd and Japanese partners

One of the main components of UEF’s education internationalization strategy is to enhance student learning opportunities and foreign internship programs. UEF has been continuously working to facilitate opportunities for its students to study abroad, engage in cultural exchange, and visit various countries, including Japan. The Department of Foreign Languages and International Culture offered a wide range of job shadowing and internship opportunities in Japan for students majoring in Japanese language.

OCTOBER 24 - UEF warmly welcomed and had a working session with the Management Team of Dai Viet Human Resource Development Co., Ltd (DAVIMADE) and Japanese partners, namely Joint Support and OSP Advance JSC. The session also included Dr. Vo Van Thanh Ngan - Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures, Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong - Director, Center of Corporate Partnerships, Ms. Do Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Dean, Faculty Economics, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Lan - Permanent Deputy Director, UEF Center of IT and Foreign Languages.

From Davimade Company and partners, the session also honor to have Mr. Honda Yusuke - CEO, Joint Support Company; Mr. Yonehara Hirazoku - Director, Joint Support Corporation; Ms. Tran Nu Thuc Doan - Personnel Manager,  Joint Support Corporation; Mr. Tran Tuan Minh - Training Manager, Davimade Company; Mr. Tran Dang Khoa - Head, Public Relations Manager, Davimade Company; Mr Ando Kenichi - Chairman, CEO of OSP Advance Corporation; Mr. Matsuda Tadasuke - Director, Internal Control Department of OSP Advance Company; Mr. Mimoto Shinji - Deputy Director, the General Business Division of Fukuoka Business Department; Mr. Kawashima Shoji - Deputy Director, the General Business Division of Tochighi Business Department No1 and No2; Mr. Nguyen Khoa Thanh Tien - Human Resources, OSP Advance Company.

During this meeting, all parties discussed the international internship program in Japan that UEF has been implementing. Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong shared that: "Currently, many young people in Vietnam are passionate about exploring Japanese culture and aspire to have the opportunity to experience employment in Japan. UEF is continually making efforts to facilitate every possible opportunity for students to develop themselves. Recently, we have sent numerous student batches majoring in Japanese Language to this country for job shadowing in various positions."




UEF’s representatives further shared more about the internship programs in Japan

Through the sharing of Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong, the Management Team of Davimade Company and their Japanese partners all welcomed and embraced the international internship program at UEF. Mr. Ando Kenichi, a representative of OSP Advance Company, also shared more about the formation of the company and its field of operation. He said, "The OSP Group is a large corporation specializing in the most large-scale label printing in Japan, with 9 domestic companies and 6 foreign companies." He then shared about the company's operations and the system of printing packaging brand businesses that the OSP Group as a whole, and OSP Advance Company in particular, are currently implementing.

Mr. Nguyen Khoa Thanh Tien, a representative from the Human Resources department of OSP Advance also shared further about the achievements of the company and expressed the desire to facilitate opportunities for UEFers to start their internship at the company.

At the end of the session, UEF and the partner leaders took a few minutes to further discuss the international internship program. In addition, the professors, along with the Japanese business leaders, warmly welcomed the UEFers’ passion for learning and exploring Japan via many Japanese films, Japanese cultural programs.

The bilateral session has strengthened a sustainable relationship and highlighted the shared goals between UEF and its partners. It is hoped that through this working  session, students with a passion for the Japanese language and a desire to work in Japan will have more high-quality internship opportunities, thereby gaining additional knowledge and skills for their integration and personal development.
