UEF x O.P Jindal Global University to implement further collaborations

UEF and O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) previously signed an MOU in March 2023. Following that success, on December 19 - UEF welcomed JGU representatives for their visit and working session for collaboration in the future.

The representatives from JGU were Proof. Padmanabha Ramanujam - Dean of Academic Governance, Dr. Akhil Bharadwaj - Director of International Affairs and Global Initiatives, and Dr. Rahul Bhandari - Joint Director of Study Abroad Programmes.




UEF and JGU discussed further cooperation after signing the MOU

From UEF’s side, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director, UEF International Institute, Dr. Ngo Minh Hai - Vice President, Dr. Tran Thanh Huyen - Dean, Faculty of International Relations, Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Luan - Deputy Director, Department of Science, Technology and International Projects.




 Representatives from both universities give speeches in the second meeting

During the working session in March, two universities proposed collaboration including 2+2, 3+1, and 4+0 articulation programs, international internships, student and faculty mobility, etc. In this meeting, representatives from both sides discussed potential implementations such as online educational resources, scientific research, student exchanges, and seminars.

Moreover, JGU which was established in 2009, is known as a non-profit and multi-disciplinary university with a research-oriented vision. It was founded as a philanthropic initiative to commemorate Mr. O.P. Jindal, the founding chancellor Mr. Naveen Jindal’s father.







The discussion on the potential implementation of collaboration

According to the QS World University Rankings 2023, JGU places the top private universities in India. The university concentrates on studies of Law, Business and Management, International Relations, Public Policies, Liberal Arts and Humanities, Journalism, Arts and Architecture, Banking, and Finance, among others. The Jindal Global Law School ranks as the number 1 law school in India as well as the 70th globally, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject for the year 2022.

After the two working sessions, the UEF and JGU will go on implementing many high-quality programs that  open up access for the students to the international education environment.
