UEFers are ready for Korean mobility program in September

08/11/2022
The mobility program has always gained attention and registration from the majority of students as an annual activity at UEF to enable UEFers to have the chance to study abroad and exchange cultures around the world.

After two years of the complicated evolution of the Covid-19 global pandemic, UEF has consistently promoted various international exchange programs in developed countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, etc. In particular, Keimyung University, Chungbuk University, and Busan University of Foreign Studies are UEF’s Korean partner.

UEF continues to expand international mobility programs

This September, UEFers will have the opportunity to study at three prestigious Korean universities: Chungbuk University, Busan University of Foreign Studies, and Keimyung University, as part of a mobility program (Semester 1, 2022 - 2023).

There are 6 exchange students from 3 universities. Those who enrolled in the program have a cumulative GPA of  2.8/4.0 and are proficient in English or Korean.

The program is supposed to last for 12 months (September 2022 - August 2023). The students are exempted 100% from the tuition fees, while the cost of housing, airfare and visa service fee will be self-sufficient.

Korea is a familiar study spot for UEF students

Participants in the program are required to enroll in at least three subjects (equivalent to 9 credits) for the one-semester program and six subjects (equivalent to 18 credits) for the two-semester program at Korean universities. All completed credits will be converted, in accordance with university rules, relevant to UEF credits policy. A certificate of participation in student mobility in Korea will be issued upon program completion.

Study results at Chungbuk University, Busan University of Foreign Studies, and Keimyung University can be considered to maintain enrollment scholarships for students in the next academic year (if any).

Suppose students do not wish to be considered for recognition of their study abroad results under the mobility program. In that case, the tuition fees paid for the semester at UEF will be retained and transferred to the following semester.

Furthermore, while participating in the program, students temporarily withdraw from UEF courses and will re-enroll after completing the program.
