Dr. Nguyen Thanh Giang - UEF President delivered his speech

Founded in 1954, Keimyung University is a prestigious and renowned institution in Daegu, known as one of the top universities in South Korea. The university stands out with its distinctive red brick buildings. Keimyung University currently has over 27,000 students enrolled and has established educational partnerships with 20 universities across 7 countries worldwide.

This event gave both universities the opportunity to showcase their learning environments, educational programs, extracurricular activities, and support services for students, providing UEFers with a glimpse into the world of higher education in South Korea.

Cultural performances created a cohesive atmosphere for the meeting

In particular, students were able to participate in a cultural exchange between the two nations. Korean students were very excited to discover more about Vietnam's unique cultural features, history, tourism, music, arts, and cuisine.

In a festive atmosphere, students from both universities quickly dove into the exciting exchange performances. Additionally, Keimyung students brought a series of unique games that were steeped in Hallyu - Korean culture. Activities such as Kpop dance, famous characters guessing, the Squid Game puzzles, music and song challenges created a lively and intimate atmosphere for students from both universities. In addition, Keimyung students received lovely conical hats from UEF, and UEFers also tried on Hanboks, traditional Korean costumes.

The students actively engaged in diverse activities during the exchange

The enthusiastic and lively exchange provided students with the opportunity to share knowledge and experience each other's cultures. Hopefully, this activity will serve as a foundation for opening up long-term collaboration opportunities, enabling students from both sides to learn and thrive in an international environment.
