UEF’s representatives presented flowers and mementoes to Ms. Sonia

She emphasized that: “A leader must be able to connect and build mutual understandings between team members”, as this can lead to smoother collective activities and more satisfying outcomes.

Taking Zara, a popular fashion brand, as an example, Ms. Sonia had a thorough analysis of  their unique management style, which includes factors such as personnel interaction, customer needs treatment, and manager empowerment.

Students attentively listened to the speaker's sharings

Zara holds beauty, clarity, function, and sustainability as its core values. In combination with the analysis of Zara’s and financial directions from 2014 to 2021, students were able to recognize the steady growth of the brand, with the exception of 2020 due to the pandemic.

Through the illustration above, she imparted to students the 5 pivotal steps for a successful startup: identifying a clear target market, identifying competitors, building a human resources team, developing a marketing plan, and creating a financial forecast.

Ms. Sonia's sharing has contributed to helping UEF students have new perspectives on leadership skills. This would serve as an important preparation alongside professional knowledge. By mastering practicing this skill, students will be better equipped to identify and grasp those career development opportunities in the future.
