UEFers prepare for the International Student Start-up Conference (Busan, South Korea)

Thriving in an international environment, UEFs have numerous opportunities to exchange, connect with friends from all over the world. In the upcoming event, UEFers will attend the 9th International Student Start-up Conference taking place in Busan, South Korea from October 30 to November 2. 

OCTOBER 20 - the Faculty of Marketing and the Center of Project Design Education have organized an orientation session to assist students in preparing well and gaining a better understanding of the program

Attending and discussing with the student delegation were Dr. Phan Bao Giang - Dean, Faculty of Marketing; Ms. Huynh Tu Anh - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Marketing; Ms. Ha Le Thu Hoai - Deputy Director, Center of Project Design Education.



Lecturers conveyed important information to students

During the session, the faculty members focused on basic information such as the content of the program and considerations while traveling. The students are required to be well-informed about categories such as luggage, flight information, appropriate clothes for South Korea’s weather, etc. The student delegation consisted of 10 individuals accompanied and guided by Dr. Phan Bao Giang (Head of the delegation) and Ms. Ha Le Thu Hoai (Deputy Head of the delegation). 

The entire group was scheduled to land in Busan on the morning of October 30, then began the immigration procedures and check-in with a warm greeting from the delegation of Tongmyong University as the conference officially commenced on the next day (October 31). On that day, students from different universities will be divided into groups, received topics, discussed and completed their reports with trainers’ guidance and feedback. They also visited and learned from various start-up companies in South Korea on the next day, which was also the last activity of the international exchange journey in Korea before departing for Vietnam.



Student discussed with lectures to comprehend essential information

Such dynamic and creative UEFers were believed to contribute to shining the reputation of UEF at an international-scale. Following the guidance of experienced lecturers, UEFers now will be more confident and courageous to show their capabilities in front of foreign students. 

After the session, the student delegation grasped essential information and began thoughtful preparations for the journey. Hope that UEFers will learn valuable lessons through this academically rich international experience.
