UEFers strengthens international relations with the Japanese delegation

UEF places great emphasis on and regularly organizes International exchange activities to empower UEFers to become global citizens through learning, skill development, and cultural connections. In addition, these activities also help to strengthen the relationship between Vietnamese students and international students. 

DECEMBER 22 - the Faculty of Languages and International Culture hosted a successful welcoming and exchange session for international students from Aichi Nakamura High School, Japan.

Accompanying the Aichi Nakamura HS delegation from Japan were Mr. Ichie Toyoko, Mr. Kono Kenji, and Ms. Sugiyama Fumihito, all lecturers. On behalf of UEF, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than - Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Culture; Mr. Cao Do Quyen - Program Assistant in Japanese Language, Faculty of Languages and International Culture; and Mr. Miyuki Igeta - faculty member, Faculty of Languages and International Culture.


UEF presented a gift to the Aichi Nakamura delegation

Starting the program, UEF students and the Japanese delegation joined a Campus Tour, experiencing UEF's learning environment and facilities. During the tour, the Japanese students expressed excitement at visiting classrooms and immersing themselves in the international standard learning environment.



Both sides highlighted the educational cooperation between Vietnam and Japan

Welcoming the Aichi Nakamura High School delegation from Japan, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc gave a speech about the importance of languages and cultural exchange. These activities fostered the bonds and created an environment for students to develop. In addition, he also introduced remarkable information and expressed a desire to collaborate in implementing support activities for Aichi Nakamura High School students, Japan.  

Mr. Keiko, representative of Aichi Nakamura HS, expressed his pleasure at visiting UEF and emphasized the importance of providing quality learning programs and experiences for students in the future. 



Students from both universities talked about their homeland’s unique cultural features

Following the program, Japanese Language students presented beautiful images of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City. They also shared remarkable cultural features, nature, and the friendliness of Vietnamese people with Japanese students.  

Students participated in group exchange activities, decorating Christmas cards and sharing their cards. This is also a fascinating opportunity for students from both countries to learn more about each other's remarkable features and build a great relationship between Vietnam and Japan.

 The exchange program concluded with a musical performance of Aichi Nakamura’s students to faculty members and students of UEF. Especially, UEF sent Japanese students off with gifts as a memento of their visit.

The meeting session between UEFers and the student delegation from Aichi Nakamura HS, Japan created wonderful and valuable experiences for all participants. The program delivered a unique opportunity for international students and Vietnamese students to learn and share a great deal of practical knowledge. At the end of the program, UEF hopes students can leave with unforgettable memories and a flourishing partnership between institutions, fueled by future engaging activities.
