UEFers to be elected to join internship in Singapore

After an online internship at PVO Media – a Singaporean media company, two UEF Media Technology students were selected to participate in the project in the Lion City (Singapore) for 10 days. On May 15, UEF held a send-off ceremony. The Faculty of Public Relations and Communication had also shared and advised on May 13 before they went abroad. 

The two students in the international internship are Nguyen Truong Sang and Tang Man Nghi. The event had the presence of Mr. Do Quoc Anh – Vice Chairman, Board of Directors, Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong – Director, Center of Corporate Partnerships, Dr. Dang Anh Luc – Deputy Dean, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, and Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute. 

 

The lecturers encouraged the two students and instructed them before going to Singapore for an internship  


Mr. Do Quoc Anh encouraged and gave some advice to the students before they departed for Singapore. As the image representative of UEF students in an international environment, we hope they can complete their jobs well, overcome obstacles and be the pride of UEF. 

The previous sharing session featured the presence of Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President and Director, UEF International Institute; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Thi Hong Ha – Dean, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication; Ms. Hoang Mi - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication; Dr. Dang Anh Luc - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication; Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong – Director, Center of Corporate Partnerships; Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Van - Assistant Dean, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach - Deputy Director, Center of Admission Consultancy; Mr. Pham Thai Hien - Head of Communication Technology; Ms. Zhi Hui - Representative of Skilio Company (connecting unit) and other students. In front of teachers and peers, Truong Sang and Man Nghi expressed their thoughts on an important milestone in their learning journey. 
 

Truong Sang and Man Nghi had a meeting and shared their thoughts and international internship experiences with younger students 


"I feel fortunate that during my 4 academic years, UEF focused on fully training from English capacity to specialized skills so that today I can be confident and utilize what I have learned to not only fulfill my current job but also as a springboard for my career opportunities in the international market after graduation",  Truong Sang shared. 

Regarding the internship environment, Man Nghi said that the international working environment creates a sense of comfort, colleagues always support interns a lot and they can also participate in real situations in business. Thereby, you can apply skills from specialized subjects at UEF as well as experience in the subject to work better.

On behalf of the Board of Management, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc also expressed his joy and pride when the students were selected for an international internship, which is also a testament to UEF's goal of internationalizing education. 

On the part of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication,  Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Thi Hong Ha and Dr. Dang Anh Luc hope that students can learn through practice in an international environment while promoting the positive image of the Faculty’s students in particular and UEF in general to international friends.

Before joining the internship in Singapore, they had time to experience the work in Vietnam, and the skills learned have boosted their confidence: "We have learned a lot about Singapore's media culture from, learning ed how to communicate and work in businesses to, being exposed to real projects and improve a lot in English proficiency. We are very excited and looking forward to this internship, hoping to learn many practical lessons, new things and connecting with international friends" - Truong Sang, Man Nghi expressed.

 

UEF wished Truong Sang and Man Nghi a meaningful internship in Singapore 


With the orientation of internationalization, UEF always facilitates students to access the working environment in many developed countries. In addition to the internship in Singapore of Truong Sang and Man Nghi, UEF previously had 32 Japanese Language students selected to practice in Japan. In the near future, UEF will constantly connect and expand partnerships so that more internship opportunities in various fields can be offered.
