UEFxUCAM University: Working session on promoting international cooperation

After signing the MOA with Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) – Spain, UEF promptly organized an international short-term program themed “The winter semester in Spain''. On April 04, UEF International Institute held a meeting with UCAM staff to review and discuss implementing more quality international cooperation activities.

The meeting honorably had the presence of Ms. Sonia Doroudian – Enrolment Advisor & Marketing Coordinator for Middle East and North African countries; and Mr. Salva Morales Hernandez from UCAM. On UEF’s behalf, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President, Board of Management and Director, UEF International Institute; and Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.
 

Representatives of UEF and UCAM discussed international cooperation activities


Representatives from both institutions reviewed the contents of the previous working sessions at UEF. Accordingly, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh emphasized cooperation opportunities in short-term student exchange programs, semester abroad programs (especially for students studying Tourism & Hospitality Management and Business Administration).

The two sides also discussed new forms and cooperation directions (combining remote and face-to-face learning), which further promote student exchange programs.

After visiting the learning environment at UEF, representatives of UCAM expressed their excitement to participate in future activities at UEF. They were also impressed with UEF's facilities and the similarities between UEF and UCAM.

Numerous international programs in cooperation with UCAM are expected to be implemented in the coming time


According to the previous MOA signing, both educational institutions have agreed to implement the 2+2 bachelor's degree program in Business Administration. In the first 2 years, students will be equipped with foundational knowledge and foreign language proficiency at UEF. In the last 2 years, students will be transferred to UCAM University - Spain to continue studying specialized subjects and complete a bachelor's program in Business Administration.

The working session further strengthened the cooperation in the international programs between UEF and UCAM. In addition, UEF representatives also sent an invitation to UCAM representatives to attend the "Cultural Exploration Festival of Spanish and Latin American Speaking Countries" ​​which will take place on April 4 at UEF.
